MSBM is a renovation project that transforms a traditional home into a refined neoclassical space, blending timeless details with updated material finishes and subtle spatial elegance. The original design was reworked to introduce a calm, cohesive palette anchored in classical elements and clean geometry.
Walls throughout the residence are finished in RAL 9003 Signal White, offering a bright, neutral base that complements the overall softness of the interiors.
Statuario marble was used for the flooring, skirting, and bathroom surfaces, introducing refined veining and a light sense of movement throughout the space.
In contrast, the bathroom basins feature sculptural Calacatta Oro white marble, creating a moment of visual weight and warmth within the otherwise airy palette. The doors are crafted from semi-solid wood in a dark walnut finish, adding depth and grounding the light tones of the walls and floors. Brushed brass accents are incorporated with restraint, highlighting joinery and detailing without overwhelming the space.
The living room was designed to be both elegant and liveable, featuring layered neutrals, soft furnishings, and sculptural lighting. The layout encourages relaxation and fluid movement while maintaining a sense of formality.
The dining room, anchored by a crystal chandelier, is a study in contrasts, grand yet intimate, refined yet effortless. The soft glow of the chandelier plays off deep wood tones and rich textures, setting the tone for slow dinners and meaningful conversation.
MSBM reflects a disciplined design direction, one that values proportion, material honesty, and simplicity. Every element exists for a reason, contributing to a home that is precise, timeless, and designed to be lived in.
